We had such a lot of fun with our running races, throwing, obstacles, long jump and high jump! The children looked spectacular in their House Colours too! A great day had by all.

We have been celebrating Book Week this week - the children have been bringing their favourite books... small ones, big ones, non-fiction, fiction, joke books, funny books, home made books and many, many more! The whole school dressed up as their favourite character and wow, there were some spectacular costumes out there! Children and staff showed off their magnificent costumes in a whole school Costume Parade - so much fun!

We decorated our awesome tree with gorgeous decorations and shiny tinsel. As we get to the end of the term, we will be making our very own decorations to hang on our tree. We even have our very own ADVENT calendar! Today we got to have the very first chocolate...yum!

Each class performed an item from their adoptive country - and WOW what a fantastic bunch of talented students we have! It was an incredible day - well done kids, you are all super stars!

What fun we had...there were even some familiar looking people dressed up as fairytale characters. Can you spot who they are?

We have even given ourselves French names and are using basic words and phrases around the classroom and playground! We are even becoming French chefs and creating delicious masterpieces in the kitchen! Vive la France ~ le bleu, blanc et rouge! Thank you to the fantastic Hinepukohurangi (age 6) for the great photos!

The children were amazed to see how coconut cream was made - they are now all fans of coconut, coconut juice and coconut cream! We finished off turning our learning into a Sasa!

Room 11 and 12 have been kept busy with our worm farm, compost heap and vegetable garden. We can't wait for our veges to grow. Who would have thought we'd all have green thumbs!

WOW the children got dressed up in their finest and looked absolutely dazzling! We had a great time being part of the studio audience and meeting and seeing all the What Now stars - as well as All Black Andy Ellis and OpShop's Jason Kerrison!
